1. European, Global and Intercultural Dimension in Curriculum

Vocational education institutions incorporate international elements into curricula through modular, competence-based programmes aligned with European approaches, including EQAVET principles.

The National Qualifications Framework aligns with the European Qualifications Framework, supporting transparency and the comparability of qualifications.

Programmes often include digital literacy, foreign language learning, entrepreneurial skills and sector-specific competencies informed by international good practice.

2. Partnerships and Networks

Vocational Educational Institutions collaborate with European and regional partners in Erasmus+ projects, Twinning programmes, and cooperation initiatives. Georgia is a member of UNESCO-UNEVOC International Centres, the Alliance of Apprenticeship, and WorldSkills International, etc. The ministry and vocational educational institutions have partnerships with many international organisations that support teacher and personnel capacity-building
