In early childhood education, external quality assurance is currently carried out by the National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement (NCEQE) within a transitional framework established by legislation. This arrangement is intended to remain in effect until quality assurance responsibilities are gradually transferred to municipalities.

In general education, external quality assurance is based on authorization procedures and other monitoring mechanisms defined by national legislation. These processes are implemented in accordance with established standards and aim to ensure compliance with national requirements and support institutional development.

Experts involved in external evaluation are selected in accordance with relevant procedures and standards. Their role includes the analysis of institutional documentation and participation in evaluation processes defined by the applicable regulatory framework.
