Maturation Institutes That Leave A Mark from Tradition to the Future

7 national and 1 regional projects have been determined to be carried out by our maturation institutes that research cultural values and traditional arts, develop them without spoiling their characteristics, archive them, transfer them to future generations, promote them in national and international areas, have research, design, promotion and marketing units, and carry out artistic education and production activities together. With the seven national projects determined under the titles of A Cultural Treasure: Divan-ü Lügat-it Türk, Cultural Journey of the Turkish World, Climate Change with Traditional and Artistic Expression, Dye of Roots, Digitalization of Maturation Institutes, Turkish Cuisine from Ancestral Lands to Anatolia, and the Atlas of Turkish Weaving and the regional projects determined under the title of the Trace of the Turkish Needle, Local Embroideries, our aim is to be a pioneering educational institution that researches, protects, archives, produces in accordance with the original, carries them to the future with designs and introduces our traditional arts to the world.

We are Creating a Database for Maturation Institutes

'E-maturation' software has been developed for Maturation Institutes in order to be permanent, reliable and meet the needs of the institutions. The e-maturation platform includes subheadings such as permanent/assigned teachers, master instructors, themes/projects, institution information, product catalogs, workshop names and numbers, work schedules, reports, products belonging to the Bohça brand. Thanks to this digital platform, the work and transactions of the maturation institutes will be monitored.

The Brand of the Ministry of National Education, BOHÇA, is Going Digital

As Bohça Store, as a result of the marketplace research we conducted in line with our needs, Ticimax e-commerce company was found suitable and a partnership was established. This strategic partnership aims to continue our presence in the field of e-commerce as well as our physical store, to increase our sales focus and to transform the Bohça name into a strong brand by expanding our customer portfolio. During the transition to the e-commerce platform, Bohça Store employees were prepared for this new period with technical trainings organized by competent people. This training process included the successful integration into the Nebim program with the support received from Ticimax officials. As Bohça Store, we aim to offer our customers a faster, safer and uninterrupted shopping experience with the combination of these strategic steps. With the infrastructure investments and integration studies made, we aim to manage the operational processes of both our physical store and our e-commerce channel more effectively and to maximize customer satisfaction.

New Approaches in In-Service Training

In-service training activities are planned and carried out in line with the policies and priorities of the Ministry of National Education and the upper policy documents, as well as the professional development areas determined by teacher needs analyses. The trainings in question are organized to inform our teachers about new approaches, methods and techniques used in education and training, to develop their knowledge and skills in measurement and evaluation, to increase their competencies in professional knowledge and skills, and to develop their skills in the use of new technologies and technological environments in order to support their professional and personal development.

In 2022, the Regulation framing the in-service training of teachers was rewritten from scratch and a “new in-service training regulation” was prepared, reflecting new approaches in teacher training. Using the opportunities provided by these legislative arrangements, new professional development approaches for teachers were implemented. Within this framework, in-service training activities were organized as course and seminar activities in line with standard training programs, and within the scope of the “Ministry of National Education Personnel In-Service Training Regulation”, which entered into force on March 11, 2022, they began to be carried out in the form of “Teacher-manager mobility programs”, “School-based professional development (OTMG) programs”, and professional development communities (MGT).
