Students assessment

Examination and assessment of knowledge, skills and competencies is performed from all subjects or modules and at the exam, in accordance with the educational program. The manner and procedure of assessment of students at this level of education is regulated in more detail by the regulations on assessment.

The examination of knowledge and assessment of students is performed by an examination commission, composed of teachers of an educational institution, ie a secondary vocational school in which education for V degrees is performed. One of the members of the commission must be a subject teacher.

Assessment of students' knowledge (skills, performance, practical work, engagement) in all subjects is carried out on a scale of five points of qualitative and quantitative assessment:

• 5 (excellent),

• 4 (very good),

• 3 (good),

• 2 (satisfactory) and

• 1 (unsatisfactory)

Progression of student

A student at this level of education advances to the next grade if he / she has received positive grades in all subjects and modules. A student in a higher vocational school can repeat the same class once.

Grades from subjects, ie modules and general success of students are determined by the commission.

Certification

The diploma exam or final exam, when it comes to acquiring the title of master, which completes this level of education, consists of the preparation and defense of the diploma or final thesis.

The Laws on Education and Upbringing stipulate that an institution that realizes publicly valid educational programs issues public documents. After passing the diploma or final exam, the student receives a diploma.
