Assessment of students at vocational colleges at ISCED level 5 is structured to ensure that students achieve the necessary learning outcomes. Here are some key features of the assessment process:

Continuous assessments: These assessments occur throughout the study period and provide students with feedback on their progress. This can include written or oral feedback on assignments and presentations. The goal is to help students improve and achieve their learning objectives.

Final assessments: At the end of a course or program, final assessments are conducted to evaluate the students’ overall competence. This can be in the form of exams, project work or practical tests that demonstrate the students’ skills and knowledge.

Practical Tests: For fields that require practical skills, practical tests are often used where students must demonstrate their abilities in realistic situations.

Project work: Many vocational colleges use project work as part of the assessment. This allows students to apply theoretical knowledge in practical projects that simulate real work tasks.

Course requirements: Some vocational colleges require students to have completed and passed certain assignments or tests during the course to be eligible for the final assessment.
