Non-academic staff

In order to support the implementation of activities and achieve their mission, higher education institutions employ non-academic staff. They are recruited based on defined job descriptions and systematization of positions. Employment is conducted through public calls that clearly specify requirement and qualifications needed for each position.

Non-academic staff perform a wide range of support functions, such as: student services, IT support, international relations, career development, library services, technology transfer, project management and project office support, support services for students with disabilities.

In addition to these roles, higher education institutions employ administrative personnel essential to institutional operations such as: general administration staff, legal, financial and public procurement staff.

The Secretary General of the University is responsible for overseeing and ensuring efficient performance of non-academic staff.

To maintain and enhance staff competencies, higher education institutions organize regular training activities. Non-academic staff also actively participate in professional development opportunities offered through Erasmus+ programme, international projects and membership in international university associations.
