Apart from the centre-based and home-based early childhood education and care (ECEC) services described above, there are no other formally established organisational variations or alternative structures within the national ECEC system. The provision of early childhood education and care is therefore primarily delivered through these two forms of service, in accordance with the existing legal and institutional framework.
