9.4Other education staff or staff working with schools

According to the Education Code, staff in general education in the Republic of Moldova consists not only of managerial and teaching staff, but also of auxiliary teaching staff and non-teaching staff.

Auxiliary teaching staff includes:

a) school librarian;

b) IT specialist;

c) laboratory assistant;

d) extracurricular instructor;

e) instructor-facilitator (animator);

f) educator’s assistant.

Non-teaching staff includes:

a) secretary;

b) medical assistant;

c) physiotherapist;

d) technician;

e) musical instrument technician/tuner;

f) property administrator;

g) financial administrator (accountant);

h) other administrative, maintenance, auxiliary and support staff, with job titles established by the Occupations Classifier of the Republic of Moldova.
