Alternative daycare: Sure Start Children’s Houses

      Objectives and accessibility

      Family nurseries

In case of children under 3 years family nurseries correspond to the prior family daycare services with the exception, that family nurseries provide care and education for children between the age of 20 weeks and 3 years similarly to other nursery services. Because of the service-type nature of family nurseries, these can be established much easier and faster than institutional care, either in the home of the provider or in other premises designed for this purpose.
