The legal framework, both in the field of vocational education and training, as well as in the field of vocational qualifications improved and supports reform in VET. Adapted to the EU legal framework aiming at a system that qualifies young people but also anyone who wants to improve their skills, knowledge and competences that serve employment not only in Albania but also wider.

Increase the number of students attending secondary vocational education at 25%.

Completion of the process we have begun to transform the 18 high vocational schools (also with the contribution of the leading donors supporting the field of vocational education and training) in excellence schools.

At the same time, these schools will be transformed into Multifunctional Centers, providing different services according to needs.

Strengthen co-operation with the business community, extending in this cooperation as much as possible the dual VET approach, not only in terms of professional practices but also wider including the financial support and financial inputs that the business provides for empowering the system of VET.

 

It is intended that 3% of the population benefit from continuing qualifications and training in lifelong learning.

Vocational education and training extends widely to rural areas, serving better as the agriculture and livestock sector, as well as the services sector that is needed in these areas.

Increasing the number of women and unemployed jobseekers who benefit from vocational education and training aiming at their integration into the labor market.

 

Vocational education and training through the courses, profiles and courses it will offer will be fully in service to the needs and requirements of the business community, as this also affects the increase in the level of employability.

Improving the collection and processing of statistics in the field of vocational education and training as a very important element in monitoring the progress of reforms and in the direction of drafting their policies.
