Further education of people who teach adults is governed by the act on pedagogical and professional employees (see  Continuing Professional Development for Teachers Working in Early Childhood and School Education), particularly regarding:

• primary and secondary teachers,
• masters of vocational training, 
• teachers providing continuing education.

Further education of teachers, lecturers, and trainers working in different professional organisation, associations, unions, and non-profit and commercial institutions is determined by their employers and their customers’ requirements. It is governed by applicable Labour Code regulations (Zákonník práce).
