The first-cycle of higher education study provided in Slovakia is a bachelor study programme which is described in detail in chapter 7.2.1 Bachelor.

Short-cycle higher education study programmes do not exist in Slovakia at the moment but there is a plan to introduce these programmes in the future. More information can be found in chapter 7.2.2 Short-cycle higher education.
