Organisational Aspects

Continuing professional development of academic staff has been expressed in the Higher Education Act as a general obligation for the teacher without concrete quantification. The higher education institutions and staff have a high level of autonomy in the organisation and participation in CPD. 

Incentives for Participation in Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Activities

Higher education institutions have full autonomy regarding incentives for individual Continuing Professional Development (CPD). There are several national programmes that offer funding for international CPD for academic staff.
