Support Measures for Learners in Higher Education  

Definition of the Target Group(s)

No legislation deals with special needs or disabled students in higher education. However, each university has an official policy on how to accommodate students with special needs and they offer counselling for disabled students according to the Act on the Affairs of Disabled People. The universities have formalised their services to students with disabilities or special needs. Students can apply to the Counselling Service for special study circumstances and special examination procedures.
