Towards a grouping of certain Master craftsman’s diplomas
A draft law on the reform of training leading to a Master craftsman’s diploma was introduced on 9 October 2023. A horizontal and inter-trade restructuring of the training courses leading to the Master craftsman’s diploma has been initiated. This should result in twelve to fifteen certificates organised by field of activity, compared to the 31 diplomas organised by sectors until now.
This approach will respond to structural changes in companies and new expectations from customers, as well as to the varied profiles of candidates interested in the various training courses.
A modernisation is also planned for the examinations leading to the diploma.

Launch of the Digital Learning Hub
The opening of the Digital Learning Hub (DLH) in September 2022 marked a new stage in the mastery of digital technologies. In a society that is becoming increasingly digital, learning digital tools is essential to meet the growing demand of the job market.
The DLH's offer is part of the ministry of Education, Children and Youth's continuing professional education programme and is characterised by a high degree of flexibility to accommodate training in the field of IT (coding, cybersecurity, blockchain, design thinking), and by an alternative pedagogy compared to a traditional school.
