In connection with the examination of various criteria, the report prepared by the Education and Training Council into the quality of qualification education summarises the practices of the different training operators in terms of continuing training for their employees. The information presented below derives from this report.

With regard to social advancement education, each network provides continuing training in various training fields. Training course catalogues are circulated and are accessible to all.

All trainers at Forem are encouraged to attend training every year, especially those who are most highly specialised. The goal, which has nearly been achieved, is ten days of training per person per year.

At IFAPME, trainers on open-ended contracts receive 64 hours of training per year, to be chosen from a varied range of training offerings. In addition, an educational day is also organised every year for all trainers and educational teams in the IFAPME network. Part-time trainers also have access to this training: their participation is encouraged, but is only obligatory on a pro rata basis according to hours worked and/or the duration of the course concerned. Attendance of certain training courses may also be required in order to maintain authorisation as a trainer.

At Bruxelles Formation, an annual training plan is drawn up, with three main areas of focus: requests from the management, requests from the different services and individual requests.
