Teachers’ remuneration is regulated by collective agreement for all education levels.

The minimum qualification requirement for teachers at all levels is ISCED 6. In addition, teachers undergo induction phase (12 months) and professional exam.

Salary progression of teachers depends on years of service, qualification level, acquired professional titles, acquired academic degrees, role, and responsibilities.

Teachers do not have the status of civil servants, but of employees of educational institution.
