- Teachers’ remuneration is regulated by top-level authorities.
- The minimum qualification requirement for teachers is ISCED 6 at all education levels. At secondary level a 9-month induction course is required.
- The salary progression for teachers and depend on number of years in service.
- Teachers have a status very similar to civil servants’ status. Differences only occur to educational matters, worktime, and leaves. This does not relate to their salaries.
