Salary progression of teachers depends on the grade scales and professional competence evaluated through examination. Teachers at pre-primary level can also move up the grades by acquiring higher education). Teachers get 0,25% increase for each year of service for the first 8 years of service, then teachers get 0,5% increase for each year of service for the next 32 years.
