Mobility and internationalisation

Luxembourg

13.Mobility and internationalisation

Last update: 27 November 2023

International relations, in particular with the neighbouring countries, have traditionally characterised education and training in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.

At elementary and secondary level, mobility and international relations are organised in the framework of:

  • Luxembourg’s integration into the European institutions and European programmes in the field of education
  • Bilateral and cultural agreements
  • Research and innovation
  • Luxembourg’s integration into international institutions (OECD, UNESCO, Council of Europe).

With regard to higher education, international relations are established between the University of Luxembourg and foreign universities.
