Non-teaching staff in public institutions providing Adult Education (EPA) offered by the Education Authorities is the same as that of institutions offering non-university education.

These are specialists with specific training for the tasks they carry out. These include, among others, the following:

• health aid technicians;
• speech therapists;
• physiotherapists;
• occupational therapists;
• auxiliary nurse care technicians;
• educators;
• advanced technicians in social integration;
• specialised technicians in education;
• family assistants.

Support staff working at institutions that impart EPA offered by the Employment Authorities are selected under the same conditions as the management staff.

The contract is made by a promoting body after the candidate has passed a selection process carried out by a mixed group of the State Public Employment Service (SEPE).
