At present, teachers in charge exclusively of guidance activities are not foreseen; such activities are carried out according to the planning of each school, also in collaboration with the local authorities and specialised external agencies, through additional ad-hoc tasks assigned to the class teachers.

Guidance falls within all teachers’ action as a progressive education to self-knowledge, to the knowledge of the opportunities offered by the environment and to the capacity to choose.
