Adult education is offered by Provincial centres for adult education (CPIAs) and by upper secondary schools. CPIAs are autonomous institutions with their own staff. However, staff at CPIAs follows the regulations on staff of State schools. In the case of upper secondary schools offering adult education, the non-teaching staff is that of the school.
