School heads’ remuneration is regulated by collective agreement for all education levels.
The minimum qualification required for school heads is ISCED 6. In addition, school heads are required to have 5 years of work experience in teaching and a license to work at educational institutions.
The salary progression of school heads depends on the qualification and the number of years in service, qualification and roles and responsibilities.
School heads are not civil servants.
