School heads’ remuneration is regulated by top-level authorities.
The minimum qualification requirements for school heads is ISCED 6. In addition, at primary and secondary levels they must have 5 years’ experience, completion of training and exam.
Salary progression of school heads depends on the years of service (0.5% yearly increment).
School heads are civil servants.
