School heads ‘remuneration is regulated by top level authorities.
The minimum qualification requirement for school heads is ISCED 7 except at pre-primary level where ISCED 3 is required. In addition, school heads must have professional experience of 3 years (pre-primary), 4 years (primary and lower secondary) and 5 years (upper secondary), and leadership-management training.
Salary progression depends on years of experience.
School heads are school employees.
