School heads’ remuneration is regulated by top-level authorities.
The minimum qualification required for school heads is ISCED 6. In addition, school heads are required to follow pedagogy professional development programme (72 hours).
The salary progression of school heads is subject to evaluation by the school board, teaching experience may taken into account.
School heads are not civil servants.
