10.8Other education staff or staff working in adult education and training

According to the types of institutions providing various programmes of adult education, other working staff can be divided into three groups:

A/ Other staff working at basic schools (základní školy), upper secondary schools (střední školy), tertiary professional schools (vyšší odborné školy); other staff working at basic art schools (základní umělecké školy), at language schools (jazykové školy) authorised to organise state language examinations and at facility for further education of education staff​ (zařízení pro další vzdělávání pedagogických pracovníků), for more information, see Other education staff. Professional, non-pedagogical, staff (e.g. professional staff of ICT centres) of school facilities can also take part in direct adult education.

B/ Other staff working at higher education institutions (vysoké školy). Information on other staff at higher education institutions who organise adult education (e.g. in the framework of lifelong learning courses) can be found in Other Education Staff or Staff Working in Higher Education.

C/ Other staff working in different types of commercial institutions, various professional associations, non-profit associations and other private subjects that provide adult education programmes. Working conditions of these staff are adjusted by valid regulations of the Labour Code.
