The Ministry of Science, Technology, and Higher Education has recently approved a new scientific career statute, with the primary goal of reviewing the existing statute that has been in force since 1999.

The new statute aims to regulate precarious hiring practices and facilitate the integration of researchers into scientific careers. Its fundamental objective is to ensure the professional stability of workers in this field and strengthen scientific and academic employment.
