The success of the programme implementation and the effectiveness of pre-primary education is assessed by comparing data about the child's development and developmental needs obtained at the beginning and the end of a school year. Tracking children's progress in the pre-primary class starts by gaining information from the parents during the first meetings. These information refer to the basic information about health, physical development, the potential developmental obstacles or special talents. During the implementation of the programme the educator will record important information about the performance of the programme, individual participation of each child, potential problems, as well as mark comments that are important for improving the implementation. At the end of pre-primary school year the educator presents the parents with his or her opinion on what the child has proven successful in and in what way. The educator does not make any final judgements about the child. The educator who conducts pre-primary educational programme should make clear to every pupil that he or she is welcome and will be accepted as an equal participant, with the same rules and obligations as regards the use of premises and equipment that should be preserved. The rights and obligations should be pointed out because they are a part of an active preparation for primary school as a new system of rights and obligations. While teaching in the pre-primary class, the educator will try to help insecure children and children with disabilities; in every opportunity he or she will support and encourage children's creativity and initiative; and will try to provide that each pupil tries and develops their psychophysical strength and potentials. The educator will, along with a team of experts, monitor and evaluate their own methodological creativity, the application of modern forms and working methods in the educational process.
