The Spanish Ministry of Education and Vocational Training has launched a "School of computational thinking" for the academic year 2018-2019. The main objective is to train teachers on computational thinking and technology.

On the 22^nd November 2018, the Danish government together with several parties from the opposition agreed on implementing a new proposal to boost vocational education and training (VET) programmes. The government's aim is to attract more young people to attend VET.
